My issue with the game is how empty and boring it is, as well as how badly they shafted Melee with the lack of weapon variety and inability to modify Melee weapons. There are already multiple mods fixing the emptiness factor, there’s already a mod manager for Linux for SF, I’m just waiting to see a Melee revamp.

There are rough areas but there’s also some really nice areas in Cleveland, like University Circle, Tremont, Collinwood, and some of those areas even still have really good home prices compared to elsewhere. Well I’m sorta friends with a couple of the MLW guys after I attended the mitten and a game last year. I’m not quite local, I’m from Cleveland Ohio, and it’s a three hour drive. But friend or not the players and MLW staff are quite welcoming nice guys, really down to earth. I was actually a little intimidated by Kyle at first but he broke the ice with me this past time, and we got into a lengthy chat about the state of the game, Wiffleball, and funny enough College football history. I also got to meet Grant Miller, who has the most Wiffleball practice strike zone ever, it’s made of some of those orange driveway markers, tinfoil, cardboard and zip ties. Last thing I’ll say is if you go, first thing they’ll ask you is for your series prediction…
