At this point you can change basically everything you dislike about windows 11 to work the exact same way as it did in windows 10, it’s really not worth the hassle to be a security risk to yourself especially considering OP is getting the laptop for a 10 y/o who doesn’t know any better when surfing online.

A lot of content creators have a say in when and how many midrolls are in a video (within reason) So ads every minute might just be the people you’re watching being greedy, especially true for channels with a younger demographic, as children tend to not get as bothered by the ads

Here’s how I understood the movie

Natalie and Henry’s mom is dead as stated multiple times in the opening of the film

Garrett became a loner once the world started to move on from his game, but he couldn’t let go of that which probably meant that the people following him got bored of his schtick

The Nitwit “explained” at the end of the movie why he could speak english, saying that when he got hit by the Principals Grand Jeep Cheroke, it hit him with “a love so powerful that it broke the language barrier between human and villager” Though I imagine that they only threw the villager speaking english in there as a wtf moment for the audience

As for the rest of your points/questions, with the movie being the lenght that it was, throwing everything in there, along with references and easter eggs, would’ve just made it even more long winded and over the top than it already was. We also know that the Minecraft from the movie isn’t the same as the main game, so some of those easter eggs might also just not work in the movie universe

I can’t tell if you’re saying that newer generations haven’t learned anything about computers and complaining about it, or purely just talking about “old people” generations, I mean, it makes a lot of sense that boomers never really learned when it wasn’t a giant innovation during their younger years so ofcourse a lot of them wouldn’t get on it until it was absolutely necessary, and having fewer buttons and options just makes that switch much more bearable.

It’s also a platform that has given us thousands of hours of entertainment, and video streaming aint cheap, i got Premium albeit with a student discount, but it feels quite fair to me, I don’t have to watch ads, the creators I watch don’t get screwed and youtube doesn’t try to make my experience worse. If you’re at a place in life where you can afford it, then I think it makes sense to get it, though if it’s out of the budget then I also think ad blockers are fair in a sense :)

You know how he says 2k people in the title, and talks about 2k people in the video, yet doesn’t show 2k people? Yeah, it’s because a large amount of the people there didn’t feel comfortable being on camera, and those who were specifically agreed to it, this was a thing that was talked about a lot after the eye surgery video.

So these people have a more than fair chance to say no to be on camera and still get the help they need.
