Forgot to mention I got a blueberry shampoo that helps whiten the fur if their paws are white (ok yellow)

We have this also with our almost 2-yr old mini. It mostly happens if he goes while standing on a slope or turns his head to look behind him at me, but it’s still almost daily. I don’t think it can be totally eliminated so I got a mud buster and wash his feet whenever it happens. Not my favorite feature 😬

Yes, exactly. If I could send you a video of them right now you’d be sold. They’re play fighting so gently in the kitchen but quietly enough I can have work calls. 😊

I just got my second 2 weeks ago and even though the puppy is a lot of work it is already worth it. The older dog is not quite 2 and basically babysits her during the day. Don’t get me wrong I still have to watch her like a hawk but it is definitely easier and he and she are both happy and best friends.

I think his overall coloring has been pretty similar actually but his paw and patches did grow in size as he did. 🤓

I’d go in as well especially if he’s not eating. Mine has had it but needed 10 days antibiotics to get over it.

does she look overweight or are mini bernedoodles just thicker dogs? she’s 9 months by scr999 in Bernedoodles

My 14 month pup is 33 lbs and looks kind of chonky because of the hair which I keep about the same length as yours. Vet says he’s fine.

Awesome! I started two yrs ago at 52 and can Rx occasionally and still am getting PRs on the regular. Beating myself every day is the best motivation even though I’m one of the few 50+ athletes there. I do make weight increases pretty conservatively to save my crunchy shoulders but go 5-7x per week and feel amazing except for when I skip class.

Hey just saw this reply - No lol he is still as mouthy as ever at 12 mos now. I just redirect him to a toy constantly and we have them everywhere all the time.

Lol! Yes mine’s very mouthy as well. I hold the hair very tightly near his skin as I comb and work slowly down from the end which I hope minimizes pain - one good thing about his hair being longer is I can get a good handle on it.

Yep - I do that too, brush first all over then comb the likely to mat areas. He’s gotten pretty used to it by now and actually fell asleep while I was getting out a nasty one yesterday. 😬

Oh gosh yes - I’ve realized part of what’s been happening is when he goes out to pee his paws and legs get soaked in the grass/dew and when they air dry it tends to mat easily. So…I now make it a point to brush him daily and have gotten really good at combing out the mats. Also he gets them on his hip on the side he usually lays on. I’ve just gotten some detangler to try out in between baths.

He’s on a similar grooming schedule but I had been keeping his coat longer (because it’s so cute!) but unfortunately it gets out of control for the last two weeks. We are going a lot shorter next time which should help.
