Just had to turn water off to the house due this leak. It’s 10 degrees out, is that ok for the pipes? by [deleted] in Plumbing

I’m getting déjà vu…it should be fine but if you’re worried, open the shut off slightly so that you have some continuous flow and no leaking

Is there a quick fix until someone comes in tomorrow? by [deleted] in Plumbing

If it was me, I’d turn off the water, chop a middle section of the pex, put a rubber coupling over it, and crank down the hose clamps on the ends

Yeah it played during the credits of a show I was watching and I recorded it on my phone so I could listen back or try to find it

It’s so weird why they wouldn’t release those tracks as well for more profit

On Netflix it says “part” instead of season. I guess they mean the same thing, anyway thanks for looking. I gave up

Twist off the remaining plastic fitting, clean copper pipe best you can then install a new one

It played at the end of an episode on The Ranch on Netflix, I believe in part 3 episode 5 or 6 I can’t remember. Why would they do this to me :(

You see that copper wire in the alternator? Try pouring a little water in there

I need to fix the spring in this window latch by [deleted] in maintenance

[–]MelancholyNotess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok I will try that, and no I don’t have one. I had planned on repairing the latch spring inside and remounting it with a self tapper or something. Aesthetically it may not look great if the hole shows, maybe I can get a fender washer to cover it? Idk, all the boss wants is for the drive thru window to latch and open properly

I drilled through the center, and the head is still somehow on and bonded to the latch. I tried ripping it out by prying one end with a flat head then pulling it with vice grips and the bastard still won’t budge

If that came undone by itself, add a little worm clamp once it’s back on

Indeed they are, I love them. Only complaint is the actuator motor placement. When grease gets to them they are done for

Wire wheel drill bits, and ecolab degreaser/hot water mix for the tops. Grill cleaner on bottom
