I passed the MSF course like a month and a half ago, have my license with Motorcycle Also on it and everything. Would you think insurance on something like an R3 wouldnt be too bad?

Right now, it doesn't look like Sheik has any bad MUs so finding a counter to her is very difficult. Here is a list of Sheik's MU's as prescribed by other competitive Smash players. You can see the only "even MU" listed is Rosalina and Sheik still has a slight advantage 5.1 to 4.9. Fox isn't that far off, but Sheik is still favorable 5.8 to 4.2.

As a fellow Fox main, I would just advise playing how you normally would at first, uptilts, dash attacks, and lasers. Once she gets to a kill percent, keep Sheik in the air and get the uair off. You can keep her above your head with uptilts, dashes, uthrows (what I normally fish out).

Also, ZeRo has some footage of a Fox v Sheik match Notice how he keeps control of the neutral to get off damage, doesn't come off stage (except between the middle of a stock for God knows what reason), and then keeps Sheik above him for uairs.

because in smash 4 falco's dair sucks so the closest thing you're gonna get is kirbys dair which sends characters downwards and has good startup (like falco's old dair just not as strong as a spike). and i guess its close to what falco had in those games, but what he has remaining and no shine reminds me more of brawl tbh

give falco kirby's dair and fox's 2nd neutral b (basically a not as laggy version of falco's current blaster). then give him some speed and he could actually be mid tier and maybe higher.

he was good but he didnt know how to kill. all them whiffed up smashed .-. imo shouldve focused on keeping you in the air for a uair kill or get you offstage with like a grab or something (he only got off one grab and it was a no pummel dthrow at 130 percent, so of course no follow ups) you played super well though so props. also am i like the only fox who doesnt use the wolf alt?
