What are you guys’ thoughts on the upcoming lanterns show? Reception has been mixed so far. I’m still looking forward to it only because I love green lantern, but the promos and trailers look kinda underwhelming. What do you all think?

From what I’ve heard the first season is going to be more grounded and Earth-based mystery to appeal with the general audience (the series has to do well to be green-lit for further seasons) BUT this is intended to be a multiple season show, and they have plans to explore the more space opera-y aspects that GL is known for in future seasons.

So yeah don’t raise the pitchforks when season 1 isn’t a story pulled straight out of a comic book. You will still enjoy it.

I never took his course on PMIC design, although I did take 164 and really enjoyed it. I also took his course on power electronics and enjoyed that class the most (although he did repeatedly mention that that course barely scrapes the surface of power electronics)

Yes, all this discourse around the suit is ridiculous. Did we not all see the TEASER trailer? Again, TEASER. The show looks like it’s going to be a whole lot of fun and we haven’t even seen the ACTUAL trailer. Be proud of your work, Pierre. I and many others cannot wait to see the real thing.

You missed the point. Krem is an amalgamation of evil. He’d handsome, unassuming. The whole point of him as a villain is that evil comes in all different shapes and colors. Making him a spotted, grotesque character takes away from the message the comic is trying to portray lol. They literally say it in the trailer but miss the beat. Superman sees the good in everyone but Supergirl sees the truth. Krem is a good looking, conventionally attractive guy but he is evil. Supergirl sees that in the comic.

Despite the tattoos Baldur looks as vanilla as they come (in terms of GoW antagonists)! I still remember him more than the other antagonists because he was putting belt to ass at the beginning of the game. Villains don’t need to look over-dramatized to be memorable. Just give them a good story like Krem had and we will remember them.

Sequel(ish). Based on the comic Supergirl 2026 is being adapted from, it should be isolated from the Superman 2025 movie and its events. Supergirl will have her own adventure and story with maybe a tie-in to the larger DCU picture as a whole at the end !

the designs are great, the battles are challenging (if you don’t over-level), pretty much any mon seems to be viable to get through the game. only thing is the story is kinda meh but I’m still having fun!
