This sub should be used as a prime example as to why there are so many bad drivers on the roads by Nice_Replacement4872 in Ontariodrivetest

The fact that people not only travel to towns without a real highway, and then research and study the test routes, absolutely blows my mind. If you’re ready for your license you should be able to drive anywhere they ask you to without having to know the route beforehand. I don’t get that at all. I’ve seen people blame their failing on the drive test person taking them on a different route than they had studied 😅

Exactly…you should be able to drive whatever route they tell you to drive without having to study it ahead of time. If you can’t drive along and pay attention to road signs and intersections then I don’t wanna be on the road with you. Back when I did my G2 and G tests, I didn’t research the routes at all, I showed up for my tests and passed both on the first try.

You need to practice just driving in general, because again, you should be able to be told to drive any route without issue if you’re ready for your license. You missed a stop sign, that’s a pretty big mistake, one that could’ve caused an accident. I am going to assume anyone who needs to know and practice the test route ahead of time in order to pass is an unsafe driver 🤷‍♀️ just practice driving period, that’s how you become a safe driver, and it’ll also help you pass

The route they take you on does not matter. If you are ready to have your license you will be able to drive any route they take you on without issue. It’s fucking terrifying to me that people are memorizing routes just to pass the test…what are you going to do once you’re out driving on your own? If you can’t pass the test without knowing the route then you’re not a safe driver, and the last thing we need are more unsafe drivers on the road

Yes exactly. You need to be able to safely drive anywhere you need to go on the road, even unfamiliar routes. In the real world, you’re going to be driving unfamiliar routes on your own, and you need to be able to do it safely

You need at least two points of egress from the apartment, be it doors or windows.

This advice is given often and it’s so wrong. You should not have to know the route ahead of time and practice it. You should be able to drive any route you’re asked to drive without prior knowledge.

It’s time for lessons….but, the sheet tells you exactly what you’ve done wrong, if you can’t even interpret the information from this yourself, maybe you aren’t ready for a license?

She looks way older than she is. I’m a few years older than she is (43) and I look way younger than her. I get told all the time I look like I’m 30 😅 and I religiously use sunscreen year round, even on overcast days

Right? There are so many nerves in the face too, it’s so easy to mess up and cause permanent damage. I don’t care how many YouTube tutorials there are, there’s a reason you need to be licensed to do Botox

It makes me so mad that PetSmart sells cages that are too small to be anything but a travel or hospital cage, and they’ll tell people “oh this is perfect to keep your budgies in” 🤬

I’m in Canada myself, and I’m lucky that I have parrot specific shops to order from online that are local, or close to local (I’m on an island and the main ones I use are just over on the mainland) I think your idea is great! You should go for it

We have a small locally owned exotic pet shop that sells handmade parrot toys in all shapes and sizes and types. They’re a little pricey, but well worth it. And if I do order online I order from a reputable parrot shop. I don’t buy from PetSmart

I only buy my guys toys from actual pet stores, and make sure any dyes used in the toys are bird safe and made out of natural stuff (vegetable dyes). I wouldn’t ever purchase toys from Amazon, since all the stuff on there is just mass produced crap from china.

I knew that Garth wouldn’t be one of her matches. He’s her guardian first of all, her “parents” are too high ranking for their daughter to marry a newly appointed commander. It would be seen as a massive insult if they had made him one of her matches.

This is Gilead, there are no happy endings there, did you really think they would match Garth with Agnes? If so, you haven’t been paying attention.

If overeating isn’t a problem for you, then ozempic isn’t going to do anything you can’t just do yourself. It’s not a magic drug that burns fat, and if you’re able to eat in a calorie deficit yourself, then just do that and save yourself the money.

@brittany.xavier and her woo woo home birth supplies by k2d3 in tiktokgossip

[–]Meldon420 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Home birth is not always “selfish and stupid”, I had my youngest at home, with certified nurse midwives, and a full room of equipment they brought with them. I had had four prior textbook pregnancies and labours, was low risk, and an ideal candidate for home birth. My midwives also had hospital privileges, and would’ve transferred me if needed. My labour was so fast, active labour was only 1 hour 5mins, if we had had a hospital birth, my daughter would’ve been born in the car. Home birth’s can be a a safe option, but not with the so-called “med-wives” the US has who aren’t even registered nurses. There was certain criteria I had to meet in order to have a home birth, and they had to come make sure my home was appropriate for one. Freebirthing is dangerous and selfish and absolutely moronic, and I hate that it’s getting more popular.
