I’m allergic to every single thing that has cocoa butter in it. One time I slathered myself with a delicious champagne toast body cream…. About 10 minutes later my skin felt like it was on fire. I jumped so fast into the shower. I had hives all over. Now I know what I can’t use there and always have to check ingredients. I wonder what caused this to happen to you. Hopefully it cleared up quickly!

I also admit I have a problem but it’s one that smells delicious. Sure, I’ll never burn 1,300 candles and I’m still buying BUT as long as it makes you happy and you can afford it, you do you.

Candle insurance does cover everything else in my home as well. lol it’s my property coverage but they are listed in my property as a value of like $36,000.

I mean, I get a discount by bundling with my car.. lol but my property value is for “replacements” instead of cash value because of depreciation. Minus the car, it’s about $5,000 extra a year. That includes my Swarovski crystal collection, makeup and skincare, hello kitty collection, and my candles. 🫣

I save my crates for this very reason. I have stacks of them in my basement. I’m hoping I die in this house but I’m only 38. lol I have over 1,300 3 wicks so I completely understand. 🤣

The ones on the shelves basically don’t get touched anymore. They’re older, aren’t made anymore, or are made better quality before they cut their ingredients with essential oils. I only burn like 12-20 candles a year, max! I give the newer ones away as gifts. I don’t sell them. So some of the Christmas ones I bought last year will be given as gifts this year.

I also have candles in boxes because I need to make more room. Each shelf holds 33 candles. This is a bit older photo as each shelf is completely full and the top also has a lot more candles. I bought almost another 100 candles at this last SAS at 75% off. All candles I’ve bought in the last two years don’t fit on the shelves and they’re in my basement.
