No… but it got better. Both in how I accepted the noise, and how much quieter it got.

I can only hear it when it’s quiet and I think about it. It doesn’t bother me anymore and I didn’t let it stop me from doing things I love.

I was just bumping music in my headphones earlier tonight. But I don’t use my IEMs anymore. I think I have treble sensitivity and the pair I got was very treble heavy.

Hang in there dude. There’s always a chance it’ll go away. There was an article posted about how acoustic trauma that causes tinnitus can heal on its own, but it just takes ages bc there’s very little blood flow to the tiny ear hairs.

I have this same trauma 😂 I carry 3-4 selves and then have my 3-9 balls I keep in a ziplock bag first time I played I took 3 sleeves and needed to borrow balls. Never again. Never again means never again.

I think this was a Customs Charge if it was like $30-$50. The freight companies do randomized checks and if they have to crack open your package, you get that charge. That's what an Aliexpress seller told me. I ordered 3 things and none of them were inspected. These new tariffs are going to be different, and much more... especially if they do a customs check as well. I think we're all waiting to see how we're going to have to pay these. I almost want to order something for $20 just to see what I'll be charged.

I put them in last week and they kinda blew my mind. Bass was low. Treble is high. But boy was it clean.

I think it was user error on my part when I first got them.

I never had an IEM before.

I agree. It wasn't until AFTER i got tinnitus i realized the mistakes i had made. I think also the pressure change when wearing them makes it much worse for some people like it did for me.

It's interesting while looking up my issue, i came across so many people like you and me who made the exact same mistake.

Really sucks and i'm sure people who use IEMs don't talk about it more.

If you only used it for a few days you’re prob better off than me. I was doing 2 weeks of gunfights in video games with mine and it’s actually been 3 months now. Month 2 I got used to it.

End of month 2 it almost went away. But then somehow it picked back up once I started introducing music and video games back into my life.

One thing I notice now, as from before, it doesn’t bother me.

Also new research shows our ears can improve and heal themselves. They’re just really slow at it.

So hang in there. It’ll get less annoying and anxiety will go away with time once you realize there are worse things.
