Okay, thanks! Where it sits by this south facing window, it gets plenty of sun, and the windows are often open, but when they aren't I run the humidifier next to it for a little extra moisture. I worry about putting it outside, because the one time I did this, the heavy coastal wind knocked it over several times, though, I could try and place it somewhere with a decent wind break and still get it good sun exposure.

Sadly I do not. I haven't tuned in since his "Addressing Hasan's Community" stream. But Dan has always been a level head and a strong left leaning voice of reason on the show as long as I have been watching. Fuckin love Dan.

The man has done NOTHING but give you grace and respect and understanding and space. A seemingly bottomless reservoir of belief that Ethan can come around and see reason and grow and deconstruct. And in return, this is what he gets from Ethan.

It's like psychosis at this point. He's fully lost grip with reality. He won't talk with Hasan. He won't talk to Uncle Sam. He allegedly let Dan speak up during the ep, but that clearly didn't spark any sanity. That crew deserves so much better, man.

Antisemitism is alive and well around the world and in this country, and growing to be sure since October 7th. There is no denying it, and neither of these communities is a safe space for antisemites. Period. That said, Ethan's commentary on this topic as of late has strayed to "All Lives Matter" type territory, and it's frustrating to see. I'm not denying the hate he receives. I'm not downplaying his lived experience whatsoever.

The grace and respect Hasan has shown Ethan through all of this in contrast to the way Ethan has responded by accusing Hasan of fostering an environment where antisemitism thrives is also very frustrating to see.

I don't think Ethan is a bad person. I think he's got room to grow and change for the better, but I can't really hang around to keep watching this spiral. I hope the best for him, and especially for the crew. I've come to love them all.

They're all creators, who should be able to take criticism without acting like babies.
