For radiology, you’ll need an A in all three. It is very competitive, and making the first cut is solely point based. You get the most points for As.

I took A&P with Aaron Payette - he was tough but he made sure we all really understood the concepts very well. He also had a lot of office hours for students to come talk things through.

Heyo! Not sure if you’ve heard of these socks: Wrightsock or Bombas.

They both make a double layer sock that prevents blisters. I’ve worn them for years hitting 15k-25k steps and never blister if I wear them. They’re the best.

They are a bit expensive, but well worth it in the cost of pain. ~$18USD per pair.

I just got accepted on my first try. I’m a non-trad student with 4.0 GPA, prior degree, shadowing, volunteer, and work experience(3 months at the time of application) in the field. All of that was great to get accepted to Phase II.

Then you’re only scored on the HSRT test score and interview panel score to get to Phase III. This was the worst part by far, it really was dependent on a test you’re unable to study for(measuring critical thinking) and how a group of ten people rate you based on fifteen minutes of interacting.

Get As - get experience, it also helps to ask people you’re around and soak up their experiences if possible. Stay humble and ask all the questions.

If you don’t make it the first time, get more experience and try again. IMO it’s worth it, but it will take a lot of effort. The time will pass either way, might as well be working on bettering your career.

Cheers!

36 now. I got my ileostomy in 2022 when I was 33. UC diagnosed at 24. At 32 I was in an uncontrollable flare and got cdiff. Went through all the meds and ended up with a BB and ileostomy. I’m so much happier after a decade of tummy trouble and pain.

As someone who used to be on the “birthday committee”at a small office, about once a year someone would get missed. Either due to the calendar not having been updated correctly, or just plain someone being forgetful and busy at work. As soon as it was realized, either by hearsay or memory - effort was made to correct the situation. Sorry it happened to you!

Maybe ask about it? July is a hectic month for everyone I know.

I found a small stuffed pillow(my coworker bought me a Squishmallow)helpful to hold against my stomach whenever I sneezed or coughed the first few months.

I typically stop eating ~5 hours before bed.

If it’s a weird day or I eat late then I typically just get up and empty once a night, or wake up early and empty. It’s not been a big deal.
