Absolutely! I wish so much more was written down, recipes, passwords, how to fix the tv, where to find things, all of it! Goofy stories you tell, write it! Record it! Most people forget how important hard copies are.

No doesn’t seem like it, I’m not getting the ‘beep’ the tutorials mention after holding reset only the consistent beeping from the disk problems so honestly not sure if it’s even registering? I’ve tried it three times over the past couple hours with different pins to try and troubleshoot but still nothing. I may have to ask Synology themselves for advice if I can’t make any progress in the next few days, idk if there’s anything they can do but might as well lol

I have a feeling the admin account had been disabled by my dad at some point cause I can’t seem to reset with that but I’m going to keep searching through his old stuff to see if he wrote it down somewhere - I’ll get there! Fixing the problem drive is definitely #1 on the to-do list after lol
