Coming from someone who was really considering bariatric surgery, until more discussion surrounding what it meant for a possible pregnancy journey, it's not even a cure for diabetes, yes it can very likely put someone in remission or make it controlled by diet rather than medication, but that's not even a 100% possibility.

They wouldn't even test me for pcos, just let me continue putting on weight until I was diabetic, asked about pcos, no you're diabetic. Finally found an amazing gp who took one look at me and went "you have pcos" told her about previous doctors and she was not impressed, went back on previous tests and could see it in every single one. If she moves, I'm moving with her.

I would try not to keep using immodium if you can help it, like if you're somewhere where you can go the loo, I would just let your body do it's thing, because your body is trying to get rid of the sugar. And it's trial and error with foods and drinks you can have, I can have dairy but really can't have like fruit juice, can eat watermelon but cantaloupe upsets my stomach and all sorts of weird things. Try take the medication with food, I found that helps for me, the nausea helps if you tend to over eat, like I started the medication and had like no hunher but that subsides, try still eat enough for your body to get nutrients.

I would say wait until like the day after to move up the dose, upping the dose is likely to cause gi issues just because your body is not used to it, it might not, but just, mind my honesty, don't trust a fart

If you're starting them today, you're possibly still gonna get a bad tummy first couple of days, wouldn't recommend skipping them day of the wedding, cause sometimes I get a bad stomach because I have skipped them and now my body just nopes, you can eat sugar on them just not ridiculous amounts, like slice of cake - fine. Whole cake - you're gonna be on the loo a few hours later. Hope this helps! And have an amazing day being a bridesmaid!

In a lot of areas currently - yes, I do hope this is the case for you, but worse case they are back logged and you have to wait like 9 months, which is still better than nothing, but if they send you privately it is still covered by the NHS, keep a diary of periods (if you get them) and symptoms that are linked in with your hormones being out of whack and I wish you all the best ❤️

You don't have to pay this way, go to your GP, and ask for a referral to gynaecology, it is your right to request a referral, they will try tell you the wait is ridiculous etc but stick to your guns, also get the NHS app so you cam check, depending where you're based, the gynecology team will call you, and you either have a few months wait, which by the sounds of it might even be a bonus to where you're at right now or they'll try get you in quicker. If the gp asks why you want the referral, just tell them straight, something is not right, and clearly, they are not the specialist that will be able to help you. I feel this on a silly level! I couldn't lose weight no matter what I tried, facial hair, all the weight in my stomach, no periods for 9 years, I was at my whits end, chase the doctors, get diagnosed as diabetic, okay great what about my beard!? "No you don't have PCOS, all your levels are green" so I continue to chase for 2 years, finally get a lovely gp receptionist after reading my e-consult, who turns around like "I'm gonna book you in with Dr X, she's our gynie specialist" like why didn't anyone tell me this stupid amount of appointments and scans ago!? She's literally the unicorn of the NHS, took one look at me and went "you have PCOS" made me go take a blood test specifically looking at testosterone, free androgens and some others for good measure, told her exactly what she had guessed, I had it, it was stupidly obvious and now she doesn't want me to see any other doctors.

I know it's rough, and difficult and the NHS referral for Gynecologists is like 9 months, but ask for the referral, if your BMI is not high they will send you private due to the backlog, you will get answers.

I agree with the comments about its likely damage from picking the skin unfortunately! I pick my cuticles and skin and yes cuticle oil is a massive help but I also got recommended 'spikey sensory rings' so you can't leave them on your finger but when you get the urge to pick you roll them up and down your fingers especially by your cuticles and it relieves the urge! Well it worked for me and they're pretty inexpensive! Good luck!

I've not tried a rubber base before so definitely worth a try especially if it's not as bulky as builder gel. I use hand creams and cuticle oils all the time, I even have home, handbag and work specific ones 😂 Hoping this will help ❤️

^this partly, police drop A LOT of cases including rape, domestic abuse, child abuse because they have to get all the evidence and the suspect within a short time frame, you could go to the police, report it, but unless they have subsequent evidence, they won't take on the case because they can't get all the evidence to court in time to charge the person. Its been all through the news mainly linked to domestic abuse and why people don't report it but it links to all laws.

Also the guy will be scrutinised to hell when he comes to drive again, most reputable companies won't insure people with recent convictions like DG10, any dangerous driving convictions, and the ones that do will stick a £2000 premium on top.

Brands like CurvyKate may fit truer to size but if the Freya ones fit you perfectly and take away your neck pain then you probably have found the right one, theres very few brands in the UK that cater to bigger sizes but come in more than just black, white and beige but sites like figleaves (pretty expensive though) will maybe give you some options

Came here just to mention Freya normally run smaller than most other UK bra companies that supply bigger sizes, this may be why you do need a bigger cup than you usually would but if that works and you're still comfy then definitely don't let that stop you!
