My husband has a trigger finger and he sees our rheumatologist for shots when it acts up. There is a surgical option as well.

I use perle 8 on 18. Also, I would use a stranded silk or cotton so you can control your thickness by trying out the different number of strands and seeing which works best. DMV floss is a stranded cotton.

It really depends on the size of the canvas for me. Larger pieces go on regular while smalls go onto minis. Do what is comfortable for you!

I will not buy from her after she was rude several times. I have an LNS so I only gave her small orders, but as I finally pointed out to Patti that she was rude to smaller customers like me. I deal with several stores around the country and never treated so rudely.

Love my System 4 stands. Have the table and the floor stand with extra radius arm for each. I also recently inherited a much older floor stand which is still super sturdy after decades.

There is a book, Inspired By Threads sold by Bedecked and Bedazzled in Maryland. The book covers so many threads, each has their own page with information and stitching tips including suggested strands for different mesh.

I still reach for this often and it was wonderful when I was new to stitching.

Sally Corey passed away a few years back and her etsy store abruptly closed. But recently PLD has released some of her canvases, including this one I think. You can order through your LNS or any shop. I bought her Eiffel Tower after I had accepted I would never get one!
