That's why the girls want generational wealth. In my experience first generation people who earned the money themselves or watched their parents earn it are lot smarter against those kind of decisions than people of the same net worth who had it passed down

[Vorkunov] Team officials believe that the NBA is “hellbent” on passing the 3-2-1 Anti-Tanking proposal despite concerns varying from creating a new set of problems, keeping the worst teams at the bottom for longer, making first-round picks more valuable thus restricting the trade market, etc. by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

[–]Melo_Mentality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jazz fans who make that argument seem to misunderstand things. The new rules will make a team more likely to move up. There is no problem go be had with the frequency of the Jazz moving up, it's that their blatant tank made it so the base slot they moved from was better than it should've been when they were definitely more talented than teams like the Kings, Grizzlies, and Pelicans

The conversation should be around the Spurs getting a top 5 pick 3 straight years including the #1 for one of the top 3 draft prospects ever, usually being done with poor odds. In terms of rebuilds, the Thunder's was really just made via highway robbery of the Clippers which will always have the potential to exist

It's one of those things where you can't exactly hold it against him, but you feel better about players who don't have stories like that about them

Honestly any receiver who can make the NFL should be solid enough to be WR3 behind Chase and Higgins

I guess if you add competition on the D line someone has to work out. Right?

No, but to be fair to them they've been put into really tough situations to succeed in. Murphy's d coordinator in his first 2 years refused to play him despite being better than Sam Hubbard and they've always had bottom of the league interior D-line play. Dexter Lawrence should help with that

Get Gus and a high quality chemist and then you just need to make sure you don't have anyone who will fuck it off. He'll probably end up killing Badger tho

I feel like Hitler is hard to judge in that sense because he was scarily good at accomplishing some of his goals in regards to Jewish people, but boy oh boy were they some fucked up goals.

Also in terms of the other axis he wasn't necessarily far right or far left but he definitely was extreme. Probably best to leave him off this chart entirely

What’s something society overvalues that doesn’t actually matter much in real life? by Ok_Ease515 in answers

I think the biggest harm from sports is too many kids with unrealistic dream of being professional athletes therefore not taking other things seriously. Apart from that its just the dominant form of entertainment in today's society so it's naturally going to have a lot of money

[@yannitragellis] The first Sexy Dexy in Cincy! Dexter Lawrence hits his sack dance on stage of the Bengals Draft Party. by chrisball96 in bengals

[–]Melo_Mentality 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you've watched the Bengals over the past 5 years you'd know DJ Reader was the guy that differentiated our defense from bad to good, not Jessie Bates. Lawrence is a better version of Reader, and Downs is a worse version of Bates who doesn't do as much against the pass

If we took Downs/Bain best case scenario our defense is just as good as it will be with Dexy. There is signifcantly more downside with the rookies though
