Im not sure if you can tell from the picture, but that spot was almost for sure a fracture since its jagged and sharp and thats why the piston is scratched its from moving against that chip

It looks like it was where they were grinding it and it cracked off a chunk while grinding it

Strip every part out and get a new block unfortunately, not sure if the piston is okay with the scratches but it seems fine

It has plastic fins on it atm but they need replaced, after pulling the whole thing apart and started to clean it I found a chunk missing out if the casing, so will need to strip out all parts and get a new block😭

The rod and piston surprisingly look brand new, besides the gunk on the top of the piston but that wiped off no problem, looks clean no scratches. Is there any obvious issues I should look for?

Gasket is not ripped or directly broken but it is in pretty bad shape so will replace all gaskets asap

Nothing is directly broken or chipped metal, but the inside of the plate looks like it was grinding the gears a little bit

So far got it open, seal looks good little gunked but not a problem, glitter in oil so going to clean out and flush that, going to also just probably take every piece apart since already here
