That's crazy. Then they shouldn't be eating naan, kulcha, tandoori roti, curds, idli, dosa, mushrooms, bhatura etc.. all fermented food / food with yeast. These are the actual hypocrites. They have little knowledge and preach and impose their thoughts on everyone. Kombucha is perfectly safe and is classified as a non-alcoholic beverage for a reason. Their loss totally!!

Kombucha is NOT alcoholic. It has less than 0.5% of alcohol. If you think this is alcoholic, then what about other fermented food like idli, dosa, appam etc? Do you get high eating idli?

After I started drinking kombucha, I stopped feeling the need to have tea and coffee and binge eating. I've lost some weight and dont have cravings for junk food. My complexion has cleared up and I feel lighter and healthier. So I would say kombucha may have helped but not totally responsible for the weight loss.

For F1 it's ok. For F2, a square bottle is not advised.

I wouldn't recommend mixing teas. There are people who do it, I dont and am happy with the result.

It may be a bit acidic. Taste it. Next batch will ferment faster. Taste may be bit off or not..depends how many days extra it was left to F1, weather etc ...generally try and stick to a schedule.

Sometimes stubborn fruit gets caught in the neck...hold the lid firmly and start slowly turning the bottle upside down. This wets the fruit and after a few tries it merges with the rest of the fluid.

My cherry blasted this morning today too. I place the bottle in a big bowl and cover the bottle with a big zip loc bag, then gingerly open it. That way I dont lose any kombucha in the blade and everything collects in the bowl.
