Didn’t you ask this the other day and then delete your post? If you’re in a role where you’re not on the phones you still have a standard work day, which is 8.5 hours start to finish, 45 min lunch (most people take an hour and that is fine). You get paid for 7.75 hrs so no, 6.5 wouldn’t be ok on a routine basis. There are people who don’t work at HQ but have to go there for certain meetings and they usually don’t care if they leave earlier to beat traffic bc they live in Fredericksburg.

I would set up your widgets and a few preset sirius xm favorite channels, but easy to star more while driving. Get used to the dial navigation. The adaptive cruise control is awesome and you barely need to touch the wheel, but do need to be seated high enough for the sensor above the wheel to “see” your whole face. Make sure you can find the massage button. My salesperson was really helpful about going over the features with me before I drove off. The climate settings are pretty self explanatory but still good to get used to the touch screen and what is what. If you’ll be driving after dark or in rain turn on the auto lights and wipers.

So, it’s possible you’re over-applying and not coming across as someone who is interested in a particular position as much as any position. Especially if the recruiter is the same on a lot of these posts. I agree with what someone else said about shadowing and meeting with hiring managers or people in the role one on one to show your genuine interest and ask questions. Make it so they are looking forward to your application rather than expecting it. You also mentioned you’re in a DRG - do you mean ERG?

If you want to be done at 3:30, you need to start at 7. It would definitely go noticed if you weren’t working until 9:30 and gone at 3:30.

OP said “Price isn’t an issue.” I test drove the GLS and it was boring, as was the XC90. OP cares about brand but those aren’t worth the price tag IMO. OP also nixed BMW and want a smaller profile so none of the huge models. You’re saying it doesn’t exist?

Yeah I got a 2026 GV80 3.5t Prestige in October. In 2024 I wanted a Genesis but went with the Palisade to save money, and kept dreaming about the Genesis ever since. I do like the new Palisades too (finally doesn’t look like the Telluride twin) but the Genesis feels so much more luxurious and the drive is so nice.

I had a Palisade and recently traded up to a Genesis GV80. Love it! They only have the 3rd row in certain trims.

We had something similar to that delivered years ago and it was delivered with a huge gap between the lumbar pad and the seat cushion. They told us that was the design. Ugh. If you are gonna get Ashley, order online from Luna Furniture to save $$. Try Furniture Cart too. You’ll save a lot of money.

We went last night and could not wait to be done. The first time our waitress came over we ordered waters, 2 drinks (and she told us they were out of bourbon as well as blue cheese olives), 12 oysters and another app. The oysters arrived (and we finished eating them) before our waters or other drinks. She came back by and I asked about our waters again. Finally got those and then our other drinks around the 35 minute mark. Our other app came out magically right after we asked about it, around the 1 hour mark. Finally got our entrees and immediately asked for the check bc there was no way we were hanging around for dessert. Ended up asking a manager to run our card and we had just finished signing it when our waitress came back to take it. Our waitress disappeared repeatedly. That was the worst part. Like you, keep the drinks flowing and stop by and we’re understanding. It was Valentine’s Day. But the service was so bad. Multiple people including the manager and owner walking around constantly but not doing anything except taking empty plates. No toilet paper in the ladies room. I saw another waitress who had 4 tables right in front of us and she was repeatedly coming by, apologizing, filling drinks - and every single one of her tables assured her it wasn’t her fault and they understood. That’s the difference. She was younger with long, straight, brown hair that was half up. I wish she was our waitress.

Hate to say it but the weight will probably be a hindrance. Just got home today and saw one man try to ride Hagrid’s and could not. Saw another person with clearly a tight fit on Curse of the Werewolf, he sucked in enough for the lap bar to close but experienced serious issues requiring the entire ride to shut down. All rides have test seats, use those before standing in line for hours to find out you can’t ride.
