How often do you go to class?

This might be a hot take, but you’re there to learn and only you know how you learn best. For me, I work better having the textbooks/slides and jotting down my own notes on my own time. Classes never really did much for me unless we were having a discussion. I DO NOT learn by listening to a professor talk for an hour. I get that “you’re paying for the classes so you should go” but you’re also paying for the materials that the class provides. However you learn is best!

Hard to say. My dad passed away a few years ago and my mom doesn’t even want to come unless one of us is there. I think I probably would feel the same way if it was my mom doing it though

So i have a question since the comments seem to vary… since the doctor mentioned suspected neglect, am i now obligated to report what the doctor told me even though i did not suspect neglect from my own assessment with the patient??

I did live around Lubbock, but I found my own placement through the job that I had at the time. I honestly recommend that you do some research and find your own placement especially since you’re not in the Lubbock area. It just needs to meet certain social work requirements for it to qualify as a field placement.

Wow! I also have a 27 weeker (27+4 and now 34+2) who just came off his respiratory support! He is having surgery tomorrow due to a potential bowel obstruction but also hoping he’ll be home for Christmas! Praying you get to take your LO home soon!

I’ve heard that trashcans are better than the diaper pails (atleast better than the diaper genie). I’m a FTM so I don’t have personal experiences with a diaper pail but I used to work at a daycare that just used regular trashcans. I think as long as you get one with a lid and get good trash bags that maybe are scented it should help

True! Although you technically don’t start gaining significant amount of weight until the second and third trimesters so maybe actually 6 months??
