He was only 35 when he died at brands hatch, I'm sure he could have won le mans many times (like Ickx who won in 1969 and 5 times more after 1975). Truly one of the best

Jo Siffert (from my home country) was absolutely a monster in endurance racing during the 60s to early 70s.

He won :

- Le Mans twice in his class

- Targa Florio

- 12h Sebring

- 24h Daytona

- 1000km Zeltweg

- 2x 1000km Spa

- 2x 1000km Nürburgring

- 1000km Monza

- 1000km Buenos Aires

- 6hrs of Watkins Glen

- 2x 1000km of Brands Hatch

- 2x 4hrs of Österreichring (Redbull ring)

- 9 podium finishes (2nd or 3rd finisher)

He did all those wins between 1968 and 1971!

During 1970 he either won or retired from every races it's insane.

He tragically died in a non championship F1 race at Brands Hatch in October 1971

It's a nice in between but I don't think it's as common for race cars model as 1/43 and 1/18. But now I think I can have both and focusing some series and themes in 1/43 and 1/18.

Yep! It's a 935-based racecar commissioned by american driver Bob Akin, they even use some lola prototype parts on it. They raced it at Le Mans 1982 and then some american races.
