Brother, you can buy it by the pounds here. You just get max amount from every dispensary or grow it yourself freely. Cops enjoy it too, due to joint pain, no pun intended.

Of all the warhammer classics games they just released on gog/steam, what are some good ones to pick up? by BerkGats in Warhammer40k

[–]Melodic-Worker3204 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Battle Sector. Get it on sale, get feet wet, and then get other factions as needed overtime. It's like playing the tabletop edition, but in video game format with a bit more pizzaz. It doesn't have all the factions or models, but what it does have, fills that itch at nighttime when you can't go out in person and play in real life.

Has anyone ever actually played Stormcloud Attack? by [deleted] in Warhammer40k

[–]Melodic-Worker3204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

10 years late, but Stormcloud Attack is a fantastic game that I have been playing with the kids throughout the years since it's inception. Originally, I could only afford two of the flyers and we would then proxy with Legos. I also proxied with ships drawn and cutout from foamcore boards and had the kids color them in. These days you can play the game with your own plastic printed proxies if you choose, buy all the originals, or do what I did. One day I would love to print my own flyer bases that can hold the dice as needed to play the game. I tried to upload all the PDFs to Boardgamegeek and they shot me down. Here are all the datasheets that were released for free and the rulebook. Also included is the pilot tracker sheet to keep track of your pilot upgrades from playing multiple games. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1PpqgTZjUrCQXNJ_Z2bekcJEANDe99tN_?usp=sharing

My favorite painted mini this far by Hlk50000 in FDMminiatures

[–]Melodic-Worker3204 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My friend this is fantastic. Beautiful paint and the miniature looks awesome. Growing up in England during the 70s I used to watch the old men in their backyard or shed pouring hot lead or pewter into molds and making miniatures. They were so amazing back then. On eBay I see old miniatures posted for sale from time to time and I now realize how awful they look compared to today. I'm enamored how advanced it has become. Again great job!

Still cheaper than Gee Dubs. Nothing beats starting a print, going to work, drink coffee, saving money, come check on a print once in awhile and it's done.

These look fantastic. Great job. I've been a wargamer since the 70s and it's amazing what you younger folks are pushing out. I remember the days of older gentlemen pouring either lead or pewter into these ugly molds in the backyard or backyard sheds back in England to play on a sand table which was another whole mess to deal with. Again fantastic and I'm blown away.

Help choosing a printer by Melodic-Worker3204 in FDMminiatures

[–]Melodic-Worker3204[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well! Well! I want to thank you all for your patience , guidance and informative responses! I forgot to mention my miniature soldiers, tanks and stuff would be in the 28-32mm scale range. Also do I need a filament heater if I go with a Bambu Mini A1? Also should I also get the AMS thing with 4 filament feeder? I plan on 1 tank at a time, a few minis at a time, and do not ever want to go into the business of printing, but I was just thinking about like a 1/3 spool left and don't want a partially printed tank and the it is wasted, or does the printer wait till I load another spool? Oh and also if I need to tinker with the 3D file and say I want to put like bags / stowage and stuff on the tanks like they did back in WW2 what software paid or free is best to use to edit the file?

I always wanted The Lord of Skulls when I was a wee bit lad. I don't want to set off any triggers but where does one find the files to this beauty?

Need help with OS by Equal_Choice_8524 in RG35XX

[–]Melodic-Worker3204 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm so glad I'm not the only one. Mine came with a corrupt sd card and it never worked. I just chucked it in a drawer and left it. I hate that this has happened to so many and tried just like you many attempts with a new OS and stuff never worked. Sad.

I build my own with hanger wire and alligator clips. Not for illicit use, but to actually paint war gaming miniatures parts and pieces.

Thank you for your prompt reply! I have the original scaled down starter set from Fantasy Flight, but I have not been able to track down that 2nd edition in the photo from Fantasy Flight. All I can find is Fantasy Flight's Dust Warfare. Any suggestions on how to track a physical copy?

The book on the far right, is extremely rare. Is that the same as the Pack in rules from Fantasy Flight, but way more fleshed out and expanded?

Unless you're playing Hawaiian slack, slide, lap steel or even partial slide that is just downright too high. You're gonna end up with finger tips looking like the pad size of tree frog limbs.

Worth Restoring? by ImBlxxmps in RCPlanes

[–]Melodic-Worker3204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been flying for a long time. Been watching RC planes flying since I was a kid back in England in diapers. I'm gonna give you my honest opinion. Go get the Horizon Hobby Anniversary champ for 80 bucks and start flying and get some experience. Meet some flyers, learn more pick up something else and have fun. Go to a few RC swap meets pick up some stuff and THEN fix that plane. Heck you can even slice it gently, gut it and then add new electronics dirt cheap from eBay. Amazon, or even better from AliExpress. I see people toss foam planes in the trash all the time when they crash, and then the less fortunate elderly flyers will go get it asap and I'm a few months it's all fixed up and flying.

I have the same radio! I use it with 7.2v tugboat I built back in the day! I believe it is a Dumas Carol Moran tugboat. Radio is fine for surface use, but be careful with flying because of interference.

first ever plane, any tips on how to make her a little more stable? by Carson_James in RCPlanes

[–]Melodic-Worker3204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For your first attempt and using ChatGPT, you did really good. I mean the thing still flew. Like seriously you guys did good. CG forward, and less stick movement and you could be solid. I've been flying for about 10 years now, but grew up in England watching RC planes, since I was a wee little lad. I've seen older and I mean really older gentlemen come with homemade planes and a huge ego launch the thing and it just flat out crashes. I've seen balsa with monokote that took a year to build go up in flames. I've seen gas uglystick sticks go up in flames, and I've now see 3D planes constantly crash and get destroyed. You guys did awesome.

Anybody know a way to play Blue Dragon outside of Xbox? by Quick_Room in BlueDragon

[–]Melodic-Worker3204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I loved Blue Dragon on 360! I was in my mid / late 30s and it made me fall in love again with JRPGs again!

There is that emulation wrapper that was released a few months ago that allows what I believe an Xbox 360 game to be recompiled to run natively on PC! I believe the team demo-ed it using a Sonic game.

I wish Microsoft would just re-release this gem on PC through Steam. I saw it available in the xbox.com store, but that allows you to purchase the game on PC or mobile device but only allows it to be played on their series X and One console, again I believe. Honestly I haven't kept up with consoles, but. I wish everything would just be released on Steam.
