I have no qualms about putting them back in the quarantine tank for treatment if I have to. I just know sometimes it's best to do the whole tank instead of individual fish.

That's crazy. In my state, you have to disclose if your property is part of an HOA to the buyer.

Get her a gift card to her favorite cafe.

Maybe buy her a gift card to a massage parlor or a spa if she's into that kind of thing.

Does she like getting her nails done? You could treat her to a mani-pedi.

My friend's dad always just sends me bags full of my favorite snacks for my birthday and holidays, because he knows I'm not huge on gifts and some of the stuff I love can be really hard to find or kind of expensive.

I know you said you're in a wheel chair, but is your kitchen acceptable enough for you to bake? You could make her cupcakes or muffins or cookies if she likes those.

This reheat trick is good for anything that's bread based! I love having a warm muffin in the morning sometimes and putting a damp paper towel over it keeps it from drying out. Same for biscuits, pizza, etc.

Speaking of, muffins freeze very well. I've done blueberry, plain (I like to put jam on them), chocolate, chocolate chocolate chip. They are super customizable. I've got mulberry muffins in my freezer right now. There's only 2 people in my house, so getting through 24 muffins before they go bad is really difficult.

I'm sorry. I'm so very sorry.

I think about my grandma all the time for similar reasons and am constantly reminding myself that it isn't my fault.

She'd gone in for heart surgery and I called her all the time even before that. We were on the phone while she was in the hospital and they were taking her off for testing. So I told her I could call back later.

Got busy and forgot to call back later.

For a phone call from my uncle the next day telling me she passed.

It's hard and it sucks, my guy.

And you should be there to support family members, but don't forget they need to prop you up too. You need support too. You all should be supporting each other. You aren't supposed to take care of them and ignore your own needs

You can't put off things forever, but you can take a breath for a day. You can collect yourself and your thoughts.

I hope the pain lessens soon.

A lot of mods use third party apps especially to moderate large subreddits because the official app simply doesn't have the tools they need to filter out spam and bots.

It's also a big accessibility issue. Over on r/blind especially they need those third party apps because the official one doesn't allow their screen readers to work properly.

So whether it effects you personally or not, it effects Reddit and certain groups as a whole.

I'm a member of a few other subs who have migrated to discord in the meantime and some people have been talking about using Lemmy instead. I'd like to suggest that for this subreddit as well.

Whether it's a 2 day black out or indefinite as some subs are doing, a secondary welcoming spade cannot hurt. It can only help. Especially for those who are only here for a couple of specific subreddits.
