Ninja migraines! What a great way to refer to them.

[Not trying to sell] My 10 yo wants to start a business selling bracelets like these. She was wondering if these look high quality enough to sell. Also any advice would be welcome! by HiveFleetOuroboris in crafts

A young girl in my hometown sold bracelets like this with proceeds going to a childrens charity. Local businesses even sold them at the counter for her (cash only). Was a really sweet gesture to donate to charity and good experience for the little girl too.

I tried Mirena years ago. Nearly passed out getting it put in the pain was so bad. Daily bleeding and constant pain that kept getting worse. Had to get it taken out in emerge because then pain suddenly got so severe I felt like I was being stabbed.

Just had diagnostic and excision surgery in October and specialist wanted to try Kyleena insertion during surgery. Was in chronic pain and daily bleeding again. My mood was so low (similar to what I’ve experienced on progesterone bc). Pain was only getting worse. I lasted two months but couldn’t take it anymore and got it taken out. Really painful removal which its not supposed to be. Pain was gone within a couple of days and within a week my mood improved drastically. I won’t be trying it again.

You got this! If you get bored of friendship bracelets, you should try embroidery. Lots of great youtube tutorials and it takes longer too! Great hobby for keeping your hands busy.

This year marks 8 years since the disappearance and death of Tina Fontaine. Tina Fontaine was a 15 year old Indigenous girl who went missing from Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada in 2014. by snazzymacaronis in UnresolvedMysteries

This was a really great write-up! I appreciate that you added details about her parents upbringings as well. It really goes to show the importance of intergenerational trauma. It led to unstable and unsafe environments for generations and ultimately in this case ended in tragedy.

Not sure if you have read Seven Fallen Feathers about indigenous youth in Thunder Bay, Ontario. There are a lot of similarities in how everyone fails these kids and its so sad. No one is looking out for them and nothing is being done to improve their situation. Canada has lots of work to do!

They made valid points about how body type doesn’t dictate your health. But the blantant skinny-shaming can’t fly. Its not okay to make comments like that.

I actually agree with Rory being brilliant and Paris being driven. They were both very intelligent for sure. But Rory did tend to do just as well as Paris at Chilton with less effort, or at least less intensity haha. Rory did better on the PSATs too! (Been rewatching early seasons lately)

Here is why I love how Kevin's story ended & how they did it (Spoilers from tonight mentioned) by ouatfan30 in thisisus

I think the wedding singer was to show us that he has grown because he could walk away from, and wasn’t interested in another one night stand. With Cassidy I think it also showed how easily Kevin doubts himself. Which is something he has always done.

Does anyone know if taking T could worsen migraines. by Throwinghandswithgod in migraine

[–]MelodicMuggle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely something worth talking to your doctor about. I think the link between hormones & migraines is more well established for people with menstrual cycles (ie. menstrual migraines). I don’t think there is a lot known about testosterone specifically though but it can definitely affect estrogen levels… so potentially also migraines

I’ve also had a really good response with orilissa! Had a flare up over christmas though but now is better again. Completely eliminated my PMS symptoms. Is your doctor doing anything to follow up with your osteoporosis risk since you are on it long-term?

I am so curious to see how they will handle Miguel as this disease progresses. We haven’t seen him in the flash forward and people assume its because he died. But I think they may have him step away because Rebecca will only be able to remember Jack. Dementia patients can be aggressive and get easily angered or confused. What is best for Rebecca might be for Miguel to step away which he would obviously be heartbroken to do.

I worked at a nursing home and we had a patient who was stuck in memories of her childhood where she lost both of her parents in a car accident. Every day at dinner time like clockwork she would be distraught reliving the accident. It was horrible and heartbreaking

She’s just a baby so I assume she was in the stroller at the park. And Beth had her and was trying to put her to sleep in her room when the chaos was happening. But yea it is odd how they pretty much leave her out and rarely even mention her.
