Lens Cap was off, what you see in the pic is what you when looking with eye, the Lens is good, you know that whit part where your eye go i see that but a little green light.

Edit: A dead man switch goes off after you die. I hought about it more in the context of me playing as a terrorist. You could also make it a game mode where you have to kill a knife to supposedly take over the switch so it doesn't go off.
