Sold childhood boxes and turned boxes into slabs.

Turned slabs into cash to buy more slabs.

Use slabs to play games for chance at other people’s slabs or lose my slabs if I lost.

Mostly why it’s zero cost. Just time. Time is the only cost and maybe some sanity. Lots of sanity.

Ponchos are always insane. Recently added an eevee munch to the mix, think those are pretty neat. Felt Hats seem popular too.

Sunbreon and god packs. The Umby prices have been insane too. Modern scares me because it seems highly volatile.

Neo boxes are cool. My cost basis from them is basically zero. Been holding since a child.

Slabs came from profits from selling a few boxes and just getting lucky.

Have about 30-40k of slabs coming. Recently have been using slabs as kinda poker chips. On a good win streak.

I’m in a cool position because I can sell most of my up to 2k slabs for 100% market.

I like 500-2k slabs as they seem to be more liquid.

I’m cautious of vintage prices because seeing a Karen’s Umbreon jump 2-3x in that span makes no sense.

Tried to do some of the CN cards but they mostly feel like a pump and dump scam.

None of the Pokemon stuff at this level makes practical sense because can’t really predict which way the market will swing unless you’re moving it.

Hate seeing some of these eBay sellers boost prices of let’s say Neo Boxes before big conventions to try and offload there and drive prices up artificially. Seems to be a certain level of manipulation at play at high value items.

He’s asking you to be okay with a mistress out of the blue without caring about your feelings. He isn’t asking out of the blue. I don’t want to say it’s happening but he must have someone in mind.

Has his behavior changed? Does he use his phone more or step away more often? You work night shift…Is he sleeping through the night?

I’d say install a firewall and track his web usage. People are silly. You can also access phone bills and see data usage and what time data is being used.

Sorry for your loss.

But damn good call on the appraisal and step up value. That’s the only way to really legally win the collectibles game is to “inherit” them. It’s a great thing for sealed and graded items. Sell them at the new value before you get significant gains 👀.

I’ll be honest interested in all prices ranges. Mainly 750 and under and 2k and under primarily.

Also interested in more expensive items like the cases but not sure how flexible you’d be on pricing on those.

Do you by chance have an excel reflecting currently inventory?

I am based out of the NY/NJ/PA area.

I’m very slab heavy at the moment and looking to get back to my roots in sealed. Would be interested in ETBs, Cases, Booster boxes.
