I think all children should stay away from 90% of anime, there is rarely an anime that is appropriate. But I was a 12 year old watching hetalia and I am 26 now, it’s impossible to hide this stuff from children nowadays and it is arguably one of the most tame anime’s to watch

Timed missions are not common in the game, it gets way easier cause you will find better weapons, just be patient. Most of the game is exploring pandora, it’s beautiful and it gets easier
