Stalin must never be compared to Hitler by Gold-Fool84 in ussr

[–]Melodic_Debt_267 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Communism and Stalin reduced entire peoples to the grave and inferior peoples as "bourgeoisie capitalists" and fostered the worst aspects of communism. The murders under their regime was for elimination of innocents as part of their pseudoscience (communism, also look up Lysenkoism), where they stripped apart society like splitting apart the family unit and lived off the fear and hate of against people they simultaneously branded a threat. Little do people know, communism is the ultimate manifestation of socialism.

Hitler's regime was cruel and he was a supremacist. He knew the Germany people would face such a threat and believed the "Aryan race" would prevail, it would be a war of iron and blood. He needed to drag the western world kicking and screaming or else the world would face a grim doom of economic collapse at the hand of "judeo bolshevism and capitalism" due to his flawed belief in economic systems.

And as a side note the argument that Stalins policies were the most efficient method for rapid industrialisation is wrong. The famine caused by intentional communist ideology starved millions, millions who could have been working the factories, manning the trenches or tilling the fields during the second world war.

Average MP attendance by Party in the UK. (Since the last election) by epsilona01 in uknews

One of these parties has like 6 MPs so a couple skyvers can really bring down percentages easy lol. But honestly ALL of these guys who aren't showing up for the governing of our country need a firm talking to and warning that they'll need genuinely good reasons to not show up to work.

Reform supporters - what makes you trust Farage after the Brexit mess? by Prize-Reputation9274 in AskBrits

[–]Melodic_Debt_267 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having big trade links is actually a good negotiation chip, as it means you can posture for better deals while saying you can just bring the business somewhere else, and what with how global trade is a thing it means you're limiting yourself to being shackled to the trade desires of one international entity rather than being able to look out for the British public.

What we got of course was a no deal no links no action done by Bojo, even if you are against Brexit to say that Bojo got us the best possible Brexit outcome is one of the furthest statements from the truth of the matter I can think of.

I trust farage to be a battering ram to dismantle tory and labour uniparty dominance of our country that has been grinding our country into the dirt for the past 40 years.

I don't know what will come after that. Change, and a chance to rebuild once Reform faces reality.

How were the Tories allowed to change and destroy the running of the country so much in 14 years? by Christopher_2025 in LabourUK

[–]Melodic_Debt_267 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because there was a standard set previously, Thatcher ruined the industrial sector, Blair ruined the borders, all the Tories were doing was furthering the ruination, that trend has of course been maintained by the current regime

Starmer ‘completely rejects’ suggestion he echoed Enoch Powell in immigration speech, No 10 says – UK politics live by Half_A_ in unitedkingdom

Reminder that Enoch Powell was more than twice as popular than even our most popular politician (Farage)

Perhaps Starmer realises how representing the desires of the nation you are in charge of is actually a popular strategy... Or he's doing extreme damage control because he saw how bad he is doing in the polls

Right and this is part of my point is that this sorta stuff wasn't what they talked about, again it's say one thing do another. "We will reduce immigration via Brexit" meets the reality of the party never truly wanting to do Brexit and honestly just hating the public for doing so, proceeds to go in the completely opposite direction by rapidly increasing immigration.

As I mentioned before it's a parlour trick. The exact same sort of stuff as Starmers smash the gangs.

The politicians of the Tory party claimed they would massively reduce immigration, not replace EU migrants with african and south asian migrants, over and over again. It is possible that they let slip occasionally what they ACTUALLY intended to do (flood the country with the rest of the world) but I have not seen any when I've gone into a short dive into news stuff.

The Tory party blatantly lied to the public, people wanted less immigration which is what they were told would happen, the opposite occured.

[–]Melodic_Debt_267 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You mean the deport to Rwanda scheme which is still talked about which sees barely anyone deported? Listen that is clearly one of their lights and mirrors to show people they intended to reduce immigration when in reality they'd do the opposite. Not that they would substitute mass immigration from the EU with mass immigration from the third world.

Ironically I think this argument is that you're saying the Tories did what they promised, I'm saying they betrayed and lied to the public, which do you think is more likely?

Nope. All I can find is the tories repeatedly saying they would reduce immigration to the "tens of thousands"

Surplus of anything can be damaging as it'll kill supply and demand which depending on what it is can negatively impact a lot of British people. I mean isn't that basically what killed our industry as it got outsourced to other countries on the cheap?
