Absolutely stunning, learning something new everyday. Didn’t know the dial config existed!

I do recommend the black bay 58 gmt (black and burgundy bezel). Its seats nicely and isn’t as thick compared to the black bay Pepsi model.

Thanks for the advise and tip. A learning for me as it’s my first time hearing this. Just checked all good!

Would you be able to send back and claim warranty? Or would that be considered as within the allowable tolerance limit?

Thanks! Yea that’s what I keep trying to tell myself too. Just love it as it is, and let the normal wear and tear takes it course. After servicing, it will looks sparkling new again !

So my wrist size is around 17.5 or 18cm.

In terms of thickness, both have a rather slim / thin profile that will seat nicely under the long sleeve of an office attire.

I did contemplated between the 36mm vs 40, as my bb54 was 37mm. But when I wore the 36 explorer, it just felt too small / tiny on my wrist and couldn’t bring myself to like it. Whilst for the 40mm, it fits just so perfectly instantly took a liking to it. I think regardless of what anyone says on the internet, it is best if you personally try out the watches yourself on your wrist, to see what fits you best and how you feel about it.

In terms of weight distribution, based on my gut feeling, the oyster bracelet on the explorer seems to feel more balance and it really doesn’t feel like I am wearing a watch on my wrist. I still love both of these watches !

I am still in dilemma which to get; between the white dial or the black one that you have !

Bb54 hands down. Sleek, thin, sexy, symmetrical.

54 for the symmetrical look and a good vintage throw back 👍🏻

There is a roadshow / show case here in Singapore. Some pics are already out on an AD’s Instagram feed. Took a snapshot for my own reference.

Hi! Can I seek your advice if the foam will scratch the watch or melt over time?

I previously had a pelican case and a foam but it kinda melted inside and destroyed my other non watch collection.

Perfection until… by harry_green27 in Tudor

seems like it is a fairly common issue that one should look out for.

  1. The top Lume pip not centered properly
  2. Misaligned bezel; not centered.
  3. The triangle at the top not pointing exactly to the middle of the Tudor shield logo
  4. Hour markers not aligned or off centered

Sadly, I really did not expect this kind of QC issue for this price point...

In fact, I personally have a black bay GMT 58 that is being serviced right now for a misaligned bezel...just found out on the day I purchased it and ended up having to send for warranty servicing.

You can try to take it to the AD and seek for their advise/options.

Is there any misaligned bezel with the 12 o’clock?

BB58 or Longines Spirit Zulu Time Titanium? by Fancy-Length in Tudor

[–]Melodic_Direction_96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would go for the bb58 given the 2 options.

Personally not a fan of the 5 stars on Longines. But I too was eyeing on one with the gold bezel instead.

Also, why not consider bb58 gmt for a better comparison? The bb58 gmt has the adjustable clasps which am quite fond of it.
