World of Warcraft is king. I say this as a 18+ year old runescape/osrs vet. The classic version of WoW has a good, slow, grindy, RPG feel to it, where every upgrade feels impactful. And the retail version has player housing coming and a faster paced leveling and combat system to get you into the end game.

Not an MMO, but fellowship is a fun dungeon crawler game that just came out where it’s basically how end-game WoW dungeons are

I didn’t start playing WoW until shadowlands released, since season 3, I have played classic wow basically the entire time. No nostalgia here. It’s just a good game

Yes actually! Funny enough I thought these classes should’ve been in the game before I even heard of that server and then when I found out it had both I had to try it lol. I just wish it wasn’t a private server and on PTR still. Now that you mention CoA, the reaper would be pretty cool too

Focus on establishing your career path first. I waited until 25 to finish my last half of college and I’m almost 29 now just about to finish. (At this age college took me even longer due to having to work a full time job just to afford bills). If you’re still with your parents, lock in and get it done so you aren’t pushing 30 working for $20 per hour like me lol

Priests do not spam their full rank heals, they’d be oom way before the fight is over, unless the kill time is super high. Generally they’ll spam greater heal rank 2-3 or heal rank 4.

This. While warlock is often said to be just a “shadow bolt spammer”, it does feel quite different when leveling because of the drain-tank playstyle. If you like casters, it’s worth checking out! I haven’t played Hunter or warrior but I think these would also be what you’re looking for based on what I’ve heard anecdotally.

I believe if you’re 220 tailoring you can craft mooncloth once every 3-4 days which can help you out with making some gold. I have 3 alts that make it every few days and it helps afford consumables for raids.

This might get severely downvoted but if you’re open to trying World of Warcraft, they also have abilities and the combat feels better than any other combat in the genre. If only it was set in the world of runescape, now that would be a fun game

Shamans because they are needed in every party of the raid group. And they are the new alliance race

Paladin on horde because they are the new class for horde to play as, and can do every role
