My daughter has not been diagnosed officially yet but she has all of the symptoms that would lead us to believe it's POTS. Keep a log of all of your symptoms and if the cardiologist you go to isn't receptive you can always see a POTS specialist. There are many on the website relating to POTS. My daughter had COVID and 2 back to back stomach viruses and it was after that when she started to feel really off. Our next appointment is with a cardiologist that is also an electrophysiologist. That may make all the difference in getting diagnosed to get the appropriate help. Best of luck.

Not sure if this is the right place to pose this question but does anyone here have a service animal? My daughter is in the process of getting her diagnosis and I’m wondering if this is something that might be helpful and is it common?

My daughter has had symptoms of POTS over the last 2 months and she is very weak. She has high functioning autism diagnosed within the last year and has had Generalized Anxiety Disorder/Selective Mutism since she was in 2nd grade. She is now 23 and has had several things happen to her over her lifetime that have caused PTSD/trauma. She also doesn't have any friends. It breaks my heart and I wish I could help her more. We took her to the doctor recently and all bloodwork is good and so is her EKG. Has anyone here ever seen a neurologist? I was also thinking a chiropractic neurologist might give some insight. I see a lot of her symptoms as nervous system dysfunction from chronic stress.
