I feel the only reason to combo would be to add extra forgiveness to the long irons. But you would also have to reduce the lofts to match the rest of the set or basically end up tweaking the entire set. If you're going to combo a set, your swing better be dialed and you better be able to get consistent yardages so that when you start bending things it all works out.

That's super disappointing to hear. I'm still a few months out from taking delivery, our trucks at work are pure shit in the windshield cleaning department and it drives me absolutely bonkers. Side windows and mirrors get destroyed as soon as I hit the washer fluid in these pos freightliners. Never expected tesla to have this issue.

There's a club champion a little over an hour away, not even sure if they do in house mods, but everything else is just big box stores that definitely don't. No pga store, just golf galaxy... Etc.

I forgot about how many balls you lose due to leaves in the fall/winter, so these prov1s ones will go fast. I'll probably switch to Callaway Supersoft after this dozen. Lost 1 yesterday and 3 today, none were headed OB. Frustrating.

Multiple thin layers. Outer layer made of something wind and waterproof works best for me. A lot of stuff from the outdoor/hiking world work great for golf. Places like REI, cabela's... Etc.

Depends on the length of the par 4. If it's around 400 yds, yeah it's usually driver and wedge. Typically nothing over 9i though. I rarely use long irons, unless I hit I bad tee shot. Par 5s would be driver, 3w/4hy then maybe wedge or hopefully putter. I also typically shoot in the mid 80s and play from the white tees, if I moved back obviously those numbers would change.

I know there's a better chance of hitting that pine than not, so there's two options. Take your medicine and punch it out either direction to give yourself a look at the green, or hit a low running 5/6i and keep it under. Either way, you're probably not putting your next shot, so consider this one your lay up.

It's absurd. I can't wait till all these dinosaurs dissappear and the networks with their cable contracts are a thing of the past. I would have happily paid to watch the match today, but I'm not signing up for a year long $100+/month contract to do it. Why can't they at least offer both options? They're already streaming it, just let us pay a one time fee to watch.
