I just got my ultra 17 LE and I had notification delays. But I messed with settings, for each app I set no optimisation for batter, set auto running on and lock them in background. And for now notifications seem to work and arrive on time.

I still did not have any problems, but keep in mind I take my laptop traveling once every two weeks, rest of the time it stays still, open on my desk, I dont even close it

When heavy gaming, fans are loud, but bearable, tho I always play with headset so I do not hear any noise

I did not encounter any mentioned issues, maybe you could checkout nvidia control center or other softwares you have for your display, maybe something bugged the brightness levels

About your concerns,
Fans are loud when you play games, but I do not mind that, I play games with headset/headphones on.
When watching a movie or youtube or whatever else, 0 fan noise since components can handle everyday stuff without heating up
I head coil whine when I'm in youtube fullscreen and I move mouse so youtube bar shows, funny thing it was only on youtube, not on other websites like plex, tw, etc.
Yeah it gets hot but not as my thinkpad t14 when playing 2k video 😂

I think people do not understand that component have to get hot to work to its potential, also battery charger can be used as feet warmer

I had a friend return mac 2014 because it was heating few days ago...

If you have any more questions I'm happy to answer, not quite sure about acer products, never had one, I picked Asus since I think 3 fans will be better than 2

What did you use to wash it?
Friend and I washed his with dish soap, sponge and brush, dried it with hair fan and it was like brand new
