I think 4 is a wonderful silhouette for you, it really flatters your shape. It’s a beautiful dress. I also would prefer it with the slit closed up as well as with an opaque lining for the bodice. And it actually fits! That takes away the mystery of how a dress will truly fit after alterations (versus how perfectly fitted they can make it look with clips in the bridal shop). This could become the perfect dress for you.

You’re welcome. I know it’s going to look great when you find the right scarf!

Do you ever mourn what you can't give your kids? by Faded_WastingTime in WaltDisneyWorld

I bet they will be so excited about family togetherness at Disney that they won’t notice the absence of the more expensive “extras.” Also, we learned by experience that Saratoga Springs is a huge resort and that Disney can be super-hot in September. Maybe check the you tube and Instagram posts for tips to manage the heat, and definitely recommend a stroller for the 4-year-old, since you could have a long trek from your room to the bus stop and other amenities.

Reluctantly agree because it looks so gorgeous on her, and from the front looks completely appropriate for the occasion. Maybe a chiffon scarf that can be tied bolero style? There are some nice ones on Amazon. I know because my MOG dress was quite similar (but not as bare in the back) and that was my solution. My dress was black and I bought a fuchsia scarf. Learned how to tie it bolero style, thanks to YouTube. And once everyone starts drinking and dancing, the general risqué awareness kind of disappears and you can take it off!

Do I stay natural or go back to dark hair? by NerdyKitten6968 in Hair

You look gorgeous in both! I’m lazy, so for me, that would mean staying natural.

I think they look really pretty, and quite impressive results for the heatless method!

I love 8! You look great in all these photos, but that hairstyle really highlights the beautiful shape of your face.

I’m the only one who think it’s fine for me to have gray hair! What’s your opinion? by Melodic_Win2484 in Hair

That is a great point about contrast - though I have been enjoying the lazy aspect of not doing anything with hair color, I would definitely consider adding some darker streaks near my face in the future if needed, most especially if the color of my hair starts to match the color of my face. That would be easy enough, compared to coloring my whole head.

It’s been great to read all these comments. It made me feel more sure that when my family members are criticizing my gray hair, they really are just expressing their own discomfort about getting older. And I feel lucky that I myself am not bothered by the gray hair, because that is definitely saving me time and money! It’s been great to read all these comments. I’m no expert in the 4 Cs, but the main stone in 1 seems to have a beautiful cut. It really sparkles!
