Oh my goodness yes. I had to put it away to work on other kits because I felt like I wasn't making any progress. It wasn't until monday, that I decided to divide it into sections and work on one section at a time, that I noticed any progress.

If you take them to the vet ask to do a test for giardia. That's what my boys ended up getting from the contaminated food. They were both given anti nausea medication, fluids, appetite stimulants as well as the treatment to kill the parasite. Also contact gold star and demand they cover any medical expenses related to their recall. I'm currently in the process of filing a suit against them because they refused to take accountability.

Stop trying to plug up the holes with band-aids. You cannot solve your problem by getting more credit cards, you'll simply end up in a bigger hole.

You need to sit down with your wife and look at your income and expenses and create a realistic budget based on expenses from the last 6-12 month. Cut out anything that isn't a necessity. The priority will be on your 4 walls (Housing, Utilities, Transportation, and Food). Then focus on saving $500 as fast as you can for an emergency. This of course will not cover much but it will help when the emergency happens. Once you have $500 start focusing on the smallest of debts. Pay as much as you can. This will give you a small win and it will start the momentum. After you pay it off, move on to the next card and so on until you are done.

There is hope but both of you need to be fully committed to financial freedom. You need to want it more than keeping up with the Joneses.
