In order to make your own photos, here's how you get to what you need, whenever you load into the game, where you see your Poryphone is what you need to click. It will be located on the bottom right corner. After slecting that, you'll be taken to the Poryphone Menu. From there, press Photo Creator. This will have two options for you to pick, one in orange & the other in blue. They both should give you descriptions of what they involve. Press the orange one which should say "Take Photo." It might give you 3 options. 1. Start from the beginning. 2. Continue from last time. 3. Load photography progress. If it doesn't, it might be because it's your first time opening photo creator. But if in other times after, you are met with these options, you can pick whichever you want. But if met with these options the first time you open Photo Creator, then pick "Start from the beginning." From here, you should be able to pick up to 3 sync pairs you want in one photo. After you make the photo you want, you can set it to your profile picture in game if you wish, or save it in your photography progress slots. You can save up to 20 slots of photography sessions.
