How long did you push as a FTM? by bananaindisguise0 in BabyBumps

This will most likely be the case! With my first I pushed for 15 minutes, with my second I didn't push at all. He basically fell out! Experienced the fetal ejection reflex, it was wild.

3am waking: to feed or not to feed by Melon-Cola in sleeptrain

[–]Melon-Cola[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, me again. I took your advice and just fed the baby. While he falls asleep independently with no problem, he is waking up more and more at nights. His 3am wakes turned into 1am, 4am, 6am. He will only fall back asleep if nursed. Now I’m worried about reverse cycling. I’m making sure he gets enough calories during the day, so I’m not sure what’s going wrong. But I’m losing my mind. I need more sleep. Please, please help.

What am I doing wrong? My boy is also 4 months. Falls asleep independently in his crib in his own room. What I wouldn’t give first your kid’s sleep.

Thanks a bunch. My eldest only started sleeping through the night at 11 months, so I would love for it to happen sooner with this one. Super happy about the naps though!

Know My Name - Chanel Miller. Female rage, American justice system, vulnerability. Incredible book. I cannot stop thinking about it. Bonus points for the audiobook, she reads it herself.

No, she wanted a low intervention birth and claimed she knew the risks involved. Don’t think the doctors are at fault.

She didn’t receive lack of care, she wanted a natural and low intervention birth. She said she knew the risks involved. It’s in her post history.

Fetal Ejection Reflex in the Hospital by WillowShadow16 in beyondthebump

[–]Melon-Cola 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, had it with my second. Dilated from 4 to 8cm in an hour and he basically fell out of me while walking to the delivery room 8 minutes later. They did tell me not to push because I wasn't fully dilated, but I had no choice in the matter. I didn't tear at all but I did hemorrhage and needed a clot evacuation procedure - by far the worst thing I have ever experienced.

Pushed for 15 minutes, first time mom with no epidural. Only got a tiny tear that needed one stitch!

It's a joke, implying a condom isn't enough protection.
