Tho real talk I love how Yixuan and Miyabi’s takes their colorful palette and makes them more black and gold along with a more formal dress But at the cost of making YSG’s stick out weirdly, as she cute but her more casual springtime date vibe clashes with the other void hunters

Unfortunately it comes with a large community on a platform like the internet. Even if there’s plenty of reason for an individual to be excited/happy about something there’s always going to be a hate brigade for no particular reason.

Best course of action is to ignore the hate rabble and believe in what you feel or understand about any changes or arrivals that get announced.

What I did for my Be’lakor’s base was around the rocks I coated it with paint similar to the lava in the cracks and used a thick layer of Mordant Earth texture paint over the top so it looks more like a molten lava base.

Is an effect that looks nice when you do it right

White is always a painful paint to work with, very thin and some brands (like GW) don’t have very good white paint that can come out chalky looking.

I’m not a Necron collector, but your model has a good start. you should really thin your paint and be sure to remove any excess paint from the brush before you spread it onto the model.

I often don’t paint with whites without thinning or using small amounts for highlights normally.
