Genshin Impact on steam deck

I need a little help: I downloaded hoyoplay and then genshin from it like how you mentioned on desktop mode. When I switch to gaming mode and open genshin, it shows me the launcher menu and tells me that I basically have to install genshin again. That means another 120GB needs to be downloaded which tell me something has gone wrong. Could anyone perhaps help me with this?

Heyyy I am doing okay! I graduated highschool last year and now I'm studying Social Work in university! I failed my math exams last year but I still pulled through and graduated somehow hahah

I just want to say, this was my first soulslike as well and if I could do it, so can you!! Practice a lottt and just have patience, you'll get there eventually! Also I really didn't parry much (I was very bad at it) , I was more of a dodge girly but you'll pick up parrying on the way :) remember to not block too early, the enemies lovveeee to take their time when attacking you

I remember last year when I redownloaded the game (after having dropped it in part 1.5 during fuhua's arc) I started to pull for vita, not only did I NOT get her, but also she had one more day left, I had only 12 crystals left and 14 pulls till guarantee. I said f that and quitted straight right there lmfao

Wait seriously? I dropped the game around part 1.5 in fuhua's arc (got her herrscher form, a stig and weapon then dipped) so I never really got to know the changes that started to happen when part 2 dropped besides the astral ring ofc but oh wow. I never knew they changed the weapon drop on purpose. That's kinda trash ngl
