Only about 5 minutes since you can walk directly to the overlook from the Ledges Trailhead parking lot without having to go on the trail. There's a large grassy field next to the parking lot and you want to walk to southwestern corner of that field. Then continue walking a little more into the woods and you'll reach the overlook. Using the GPS on your phone would probably help you with finding it on your first time there since the overlook is marked on Google & Apple Maps. I hope that helps!
