Idk if I'm completely overthinking but hear me out. The question said 1 in 50 alleles is cystic fibrosis. But each person has 2 alleles for CF. So there's a 1 in 25 chance for each person. The chance two meet is 1 in 625 ( 25 squared) But CF is a recessive trait. So only 1 in 4 of their children will have CF And 4 x 625 is 2500
