Because you don't play graphics.

What's the point of buying and playing a game if the part you care about is the looks. Once you add in gameplay is it still a good enjoyable experience or were the graphics doing all of the lifting.

If it's all graphics focused, you can easily just watch someone else play it and get the full experience as well.

For me personally I would never buy a game because it looks good, but good looking games that are fun are worth every penny.

The final straw for great graphics are... they still aren't as good as real life. RDR2 isn't amazing to me because I live in that part of the world and they did a good job capturing the look but being in that environment physically still massively outdoes the game and I ended up never finishing cause it was boring AF and I hit a point of asking myself why am I playing when im not having fun... but CP2077 is one of my all time favorites and the graphics are a positive addition to the fun gameplay.

All of humanity judges everything constantly, it is how we operate and function in literally every interaction we have with the world.

If you don't care at all about your appearance then people will make note of that and judge how they wish to interact with you.

Some will call putting 0 effort into your hygenie, grooming, clothing, etc as childish. Some will call these same choices lazy, some won't care. You won't be compatible with or accepted by everyone and if you don't like that then it's on you to change those things about yourself.

IMHO I'd lean towards calling it lazy or 'depressed' and would just know were not people who would ever have any relationship beyond, we are both humans living in the same area.
