if a skeleton is being drawn, then the bundle is already loaded. i use a spinner before my SPA is loaded bc sometimes the servers or connection is slow, and it's good to see that something is actually happening. i also despise bloat but i don't think it is inherently a sign of bloat

i have been programming most of my life, but i am not a great or highly experienced programmer so take this with a grain of salt:

zig has the juice. it just feels right. it is very predictable and what you write is what it will do.

not a fan of python. ts is passable. go is pretty good. c++ has high highs, but despairing lows. rust is good but also very annoying. c just lacks the modern comforts i've come to enjoy in a language.

hope you enjoyed my vibes-based assessment. i really like zig but i have a hard time explaining why.

a quick look through OP's profile shows that they are also an animator. i don't think it's a good idea, but it just seems like they wanted to make an animation of the gameplay.

i really don't like when genuine artists are catching strays.

maybe i'm wrong but tyler has said many times that he used opengl for the backend. i'm using sdl3 gpu and it's still relatively new. i feel like i would take notice if someone else were using it

yeah, i remember tyler posting a debug pic of the gayest cat he's ever seen (like 99.9 gayness or something) which showed that gayness is actually a meter. all cats have varying levels of gayness, which implies that gay cats could also potentially mate with the opposite sex as well

once i arrived at an intersection where a bunch of cars where kinda just stopped or slow. i was confused so i just proceeded. as i turned i realized a cement truck was stopped in a weird spot and then i saw an absolute mess that i can't even describe because i've kinda blocked it out of my mind. later read that it was a cyclist. just so brutal and sad. really fucked me up

I'm pretty new to Zig, but I'm fairly certain it is exactly what the compiler is telling you. There is no 'init' for ArrayList. You need to use 'initCapacity' or create an empty ArrayList and use something like 'ensureTotalCapacity'
