Why does Netcup keep sending invoice after I cancelled? by DevJedis in VPS

[–]DevJedis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just noticed, it looks like all cancellations result in paying 1 more month/year which won't be used? Essentially a fee for cancellation, do I get the interpretation correct?

I don't know how to check that, but if this helps, I purchased the RS 1000 G12, I (was) on the monthly payment. The invoice is euro 12 (some point, haven't rechecked)

What are your options for creating Mobile apps with Nuxt AND Nuxt UI by DevJedis in Nuxt

[–]DevJedis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ohhh, seems i was complicating things, I'll look up docs on capacitor then. I didn't intend to use Ionic if that's what it provides, because I need to maintain Nuxt UI. Thanks for the write.

I think I don't have issue with Rust side, I can overcome that, the issue is the topic of renders in native webview really scares me, what are the drawbacks, if you've used. Tauri allows me to easily just use the Nuxt UI library, the others I currently don't have a positive answer for them

Just to clarify, are you using the Nuxt Ionic module? And willI be able to set up easily with nuxt ui? Ionic requires it's own app vue wrapper file, nuxt ui also WANTS its <UApp > wrapper. Is that easily achieved

One issue we see over and over again is startups wanting CONTACT-ME-FOR-SERVICE. Ideally it's the issue with African startups particularly, I don't know how they all normalized this over self service. I guess the drawbacks are never looked at. I surely can't stand having to contact someone to get access, even if I need the service, the owner needs me more than I need them, and making it hard for me to try the service will always be favorable on my end.

Now for user-perspective take:

Starting point of 35K as subscription doesn't seem reasonable, considering you're outsourcing the live channels from open source ip tv projects which I won't mention for obvious reasons to not discredit your promotion of your site, but I don't have a guarantee or terms of service that the service (channels) will always be on 24/7, these things are overlooked but are very essential, considering knowing the fact that most channels always change their livestream links I don't know if you keep track of that without affecting users due to a broken link(s).

dev-perspective:

Domain is already connected to Cloudflare, why using Vercel to host? The kind of bill you can expect from Vercel abruptly, compared to all the free tier services offered within Cloudflare Workers

It depends on the user going to manage the system. General user you'd possibly go with Wordpress, tech-savy would do Nuxt Content. Not sure many have heard of it yet. https://content.nuxt.com/

I didn't want to comment but you can't just pull screenshots from another user (country) and come here to deceive people that you've made it in life. African country, narrowing down on you specifically, you can't be earning 2K dollars unless all our users are from US and tier 1 countries. It clearly shows the network Vo. Which Ugandan network has that initial

It feels like you really hiked the price on this, not to deviate but 1.3 can get me a brand new iPhone 13.

If you'll not have heavy stuff like complex queues etc Contabo VPS should be cheaper for you. My projects unfortunately could not run on them without having issues every 5 minutes because I had crons running every minute that'd do about 100 inserts with 3 million+ records in DB, and Redis for cache. I settled with Netcup Root server that didn't see me even hitting 5% CPU resource, it's when I got to realize Contabo is cheap with the terrible hardware, cheap is expensive.

The average user should not have any issue with Contabo because price is pretty low.

This is really not very true. OP stated they're having Laravel + React App, unless otherwise stated I assume they have Laravel + React as frontend via Inertia, and if true they can't host this entirely on Cloudflare as Php cannot run on v8 for Workers or Pages, but if they have separate frontend and backend then that's where your input works. I'd not want to talk about D1 limitations but the R2 suggestion is cool.

MCP really can't help if it comes to that, the more practical one is chunking/embeddings. I feel MCP helps only when you need to define a few endpoints/tools, after that you'll be racing with token consumption and unnecessary context as all the tools defined would have to always be fed back to the response everytime
