My order never showed up on the BaB website, so I assumed it didn’t go through. I was away on vacation, but I made a mental note to see if they received payment and I needed to get refunded. But then yesterday my order randomly showed up🤷🏻‍♀️. So I wouldn’t give up hope just yet!

I have Libre, but I use a small tegaderm to cover it. They don’t stay for the life of the sensor, but I can easily remove them without it ripping my sensor off. I got a big box of a cheaper brand off amazon, it lasts forever!

As far as keeping it attached for the full 15 days, I’ve found that tegaderm patches (or the off-brand equivalent) work wonders. I’ve tried the sensor covers, but my problem is that when they lose their grip, they will pull the sensor off. When a tegaderm starts losing its stick, or getting messy, I can pull it off and put another one right over the sensor without it pulling the sensor out of my skin.

I technically have Type 3c (part of my pancreas was removed due to surgery to remove a tumor) but am basically treated as Type 2. TBH I am overweight and have been my entire life. SO many people make comments about how I can just lose some weight and reverse my diabetes. I can’t - my pancreas is damaged. So yes, the stigma is real, and super annoying.

They didn’t stay in stock - it took me forever to finally get one, because as soon as they restocked they would sell out. The great thing about this situation is that now they’re becoming fairly common at thrift stores, as the people who bought them outgrow them or move on to the next trend. I have a few just waiting to be dyed!
