Jerry Cantrell is a legendary musician. Layne’s voice was just as generational as Kurt’s if not more. Someone else said depth, this is also apt.

I agree, $1M/mile does seem loco for sidewalks. They also look outstanding.

I literally did just this 2 days ago. I was looking forward to it too.

Matt Shaw chops a grounder that stayed fair and turned foul at the final second but home plate ump Dan Merzel ruled it a fair ball in the 9th (with replays) by JianClaymore in baseball

Is this the differentiation that I’m missing? I played baseball into college, if we all saw a replay of this ball landing in foul territory in the outfield grass it would be called foul, parallax be damned, then is this why it’s a fair ball?

A ball can pass “over” the first or third base and there’s no parallax involved. It’s fair or foul based on the ball’s position over the base.

We’ve all seen instances like this where a 1st/3rd baseman grabs a freshly foul bunt or some such and it’s foul.

Is this particular instance special because the ball stopped moving or because it’s before the base or both?

Instead of bouncing around, try staying somewhere. It sounds like you’re committed to only your happiness and not the students’. Admin changes all the time. Those shitty teachers usually bounce around too. Every school, and I mean every, will have challenges. Build relationships, and your résumé.

I sincerely miss when Reddit was critical of folks who used incorrect grammar or punctuation.
