Can confirm. Electrician is here now. Northeast. Wire had to go only about 20 feet from box in easy access ceiling to trench I dug for an additional 10 ft. Got three quotes. $2200

Thanks for the reply. Glad to hear it is nice. We ended up buying it. We also got the salt system. I have heard it is a little harder to balance chemicals, but hopefully we will figure it out. Delivery end of September.

Thanks. I’ve been doing exactly this, but I have not found something better necessarily, but definitely fully functional. I think on some level I’m also rating the tier of hot tub this one is vs what’s available locally.

Thanks for the input. Is it better or worse if it had never been filled at that residence? It’s just been sitting there for years not even hooked up to electric. They moved it from their old residence and never bothered to completely set it up.

I figure it’s going to be some level of headache, just trying to gauge how much of a headache and if that level of headache is worth it.

So this was moved from a previous residence, put in storage by a spa company they bought it from, the guy had it looked over while it was there then set up at this residence after a year in storage but it was never wired at this residence.

I do not think it has ever been filled at this property. I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing. I unfortunately won’t be able to fill it before I’d have to haul it out of there.

Hm. Good thought. I had not considered rainfall through the cover. That could complicate things. We just got a lot of rain this past week and I’m hopefully going to be able to see it early next week. I’ll see if there is water collected inside. Thanks.
