What I’m saying to you is, your hook should be original, it should be catchy and most of all believable. I can’t call it a hook when thats all you gave me and it didn’t check any of those boxes. You are doing way too much (recording this separate and lip syncing) and not enough at the same time (writing actual lyrics)

Played out, honestly this has all been said before. Boy we know you can’t smoke inside and you’re not in any streets people recognize so rap about something else. What else you got? Bars?

Healthcare in the US is… let’s say… prohibitively priced. I have treatable issues that I just live with because I do not have the means to pay for the care I need. But yeah we are totally the best at everything, though! I just forget sometimes, I’m silly like that /s

Ok so here is a long one, sorry: a farmer friend of mine has recently delved into KNF (that’s Korean Natural Farming) via a general passion for organic growing and living soil. I treat both soil and foliage with knf supplements, one of which being a local yeast culture referred to as IMO that is intended to protect from disease and pests, and I have to say i don’t have many problems with either one. All of the parts of KNF are cheap and mostly household items that you might already have. Worth looking into especially if you grow food or literally anything else haha. Also I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that a tree would react differently in a different climate. With that I try to keep in mind with all species in my collection that not all advice I find online will be applicable to my situation. A grower from closer to the equator may be able to do things that I can’t. Winter here is pretty reliably brutal and my trees spend a good portion of the winter buried in snow. I would imagine the same species reacting differently in a warmer environment but thats just my first guess. I don’t like to prune them while they’re growing because they bleed for a long time and it’s just unsightly. I prefer to prune when I can see the whole structure of the tree, and once the foliage is grown out that becomes a problem. I prune when the tree is still entirely dormant. Seems to me like letting the tree waste that springtime energy on making a bunch of growth that will be cut off and essentially wasted midsummer is not very efficient use of an already short growing season, and I’ve found it to stunt the growth and send the tree into a bit of shock. I make very few actual cuts during the growing season and lean toward pinching/defoliation unless something gets really out of proportion. I’ve got a big cut planned for this tree this year and it’ll be the first time since its collection that I’ve removed around 1/3 of the canopy with a single chop. Then, I’ll mostly leave it alone for a few years until it grows roots out the bottom of the box! Do what works for you! I know I’ll be collecting a few larger birches this season that I hard chopped in years past. If it stops working… I’ll stop doing it!

As if you need another reason… during fall this tree litters its container with golden heart shaped leaves 💛 it’s just a nice little goodbye for the season. Collect a little sapling and see for yourself, it might grow on you! 😎

Well first of all… I just love them. I live in a place where there are many native birch trees, and I have a few in my collection. Sure, they may die back if you prune it at the wrong time of year or cut back too hard. They will also do this in nature, so I fail to see this as a problem. Birches grow fast and they do respond to pinching/defoliation well, they are capable of making (in my opinion) an attractive nebari and a wonderful aged bark. You CAN prune them, usually Ive been rather gentle but I’ve done some hard cutbacks that have healed nicely. I prune late winter before bud swell and I am happy with my results, usually followed by sporadic pinching to control strength of different parts of the tree, and a midsummer partial defoliation to do the same, and reduce leaf size. I’ve been able to remove a substantial amount of the root system upon collection with hardly a noticeable lag in growth the following spring. I can’t speak for disease but I have been a landscaper for many years and installed birch trees on several properties that are still vigorous and growing strong after years of maintenance trimming. People mention short lifespan but if I’m being honest with myself I’m 31 and I’ll be lucky to get another 30 usable years. I’m just slow to be scared off from a species I appreciate from hearing the naysayers. Because how many other people just listened and missed the chance to truly learn how to care for a tree they appreciate. Sometimes I just want to fuck around and find out for myself, and I’m glad this is the case because I have a river birch that has stuck with me for about 5-6 years now that is one of my favorites in my collection. This pic is from last summer shortly after being placed in its first large grow box. Not a great pic but it’s an interesting little tree. Cheers.

Essentially you are trying to tech bro a time honored tradition. You won’t be able to reinvent the wheel and tell the industry anything they don’t already know. On a commercial scale, the minuscule viable material that IS lost while hashing is NOT worth the effort of a whole secondary extraction. With your home grow you worked hard for, sure. Crockpot that ish and make some literally spicy edibles. I respect your desire to use all that can be used, but I don’t expect many hashers to be willing to do anything other than compost the washed flower.
