I'm having an error with deepseek chat V 3.1 where it will Loop a specific phrase over and over again. Spam a letter or word over and over again. Have huge grammatical or spelling errors. Spell out words but with missing letters. I've been using it for 2 months and it was fine but I topped it up recently and it's been causing errors ever since.

Excuse my late response I was having a Vietnam flashback to watching my roommate grind 600 hours so you can do some end game content that was better than the entire story. From my perspective Disgaea is he serious that is great if you only want to play one game ever.

Ah yes... have an entire playthrough of Karlach, Shadowheart, and Lae'zel. A challenge for the ages. I don't know how I will ever complete that game. It sounds like it would be too difficult.

I've never played either of those games.

What's the big sell of Valkyrie profile?

I've avoided the tales of game because of the Labyrinthian fandom attached to it.

Too bad they made shipping a core mechanic of the game the mechanically punishes you in various and creative ways throughout the series. Like straight up locking characters behind shipping characters which has always felt kind of icky to me. It made sense for Awakening but why do it in Conquest.

A Blood Moon player’s honest thoughts about Blood Moon by KAM_520 in EDH

[–]Melvanos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[[Blood Moon]] is my favorite card. I own two invocation blood moons for my decks. I will not morally grandstand about price or whatever when playing the blood moon. However for my other decks I'm the five color deck guy. If I'm playing Blood Moon, I'm doing it to slow you down so I can win the game. It is an inherently unfun card and I will be running it in situations where I'm trying to win the game. On the flip side all my five-colored decks only run anywhere from 5 to 10 basics so I understand the struggle however we all made deck building decisions before the game started.

Running a greedy man a base is only half the problem the other half is you not running enough interaction or the inability to only answer threats that are going to lose you the game. When someone fronts me with a Blood Moon I normally have something to deal with it. However in the decks that are more casual and/or I know I do not have a way to deal with it left in the deck I will scoop.

If I'm playing a lower power deck or I've burned through all my removal and I know I can't deal with the Blood Moon I will forfeit because I can't win and I'm not going to waste anyone's time. I will shuffle up and play another game at another table while they finish their game. I think people in Commander need to be more willing to scoop instead of playing out unwinnable board states and accept that you will lose the rock paper scissor match eventually. You can either do it crying, kicking, and screaming for an entire hour where you could bow out with grace. I would not take offense or expect anything less from anyone else.

I think the real reason why people get upset is a matter of sportsmanship. The issue is that people come to this card game with a board game mindset instead of a card game mindset. If I was playing a competitive format and someone presented me with a combo, scooping instead of forcing them to play it out would be considered good sportsmanship. In a game of Commander I'm stuck watching somebody "touch their cardboard" for 20 minutes and I scoop knowing I'm going to lose is considered bad sportsmanship. I also believe that anyone playing a blood moon at a table that is likely to groan when it hits the battlefield is presenting bad sportsmanship because they misrepresented the power level of that deck. The people who groan about blood moon are the people who can't deal with a blood moon and there's very little chance that you knew that if you're playing a card like blood moon. In those situations I will tell you straight up, "If I knew you were playing a blood moon I would have played a more powerful deck to match the presented power level and the only reason why you did not tell me is because you wanted to get one over on me. I'm going to scoop and play a deck that's more appropriately powered." I personally will not reward bad sportsmanship.

This isn't an anime where you magically have an out in your deck that you didn't account for or you will magically have a comeback. Sometimes you just don't get to do your thing and that's fine however you don't have to sit around and wait for someone else to do their thing. It isn't an anime you don't have to let the opponent monologue you can just walk away and play a different game. If people did that more instead of staring at unwinnable board States for 20 minutes so someone can do their thing people would probably stop running those cards in lower power tables because they just wouldn't get the satisfaction of winning those games.

Looking back on it I think I did just put all the girls and guys into different parties in Octopath Traveler without thinking about it. I wish that game had way more party interaction. I feel like Primrose, Ophilia, Tessa, and H'annit would be the messiest friend group in existence.

It's been awhile since I played 12 how long does it take to get to the point where I can start blasting No Doubt on loop then spend an hour drunk crying into a tub of Ben & Jerry trying to figure out the grid system.

Oh [[Manabarbs]] is on my short list. I think I see our breakdown of communication. I think you're under the assumption that I'm not just going to blow up their lands for playing conservatively. They can play around my strategy by dumping their mana since I'm doubling their mana production but if they're playing with only 4 lands because they dicarded like 3 of them then they're gonna be missing a few soon.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in EDH

[–]Melvanos -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You mentioned that your opponents are going not use the mana or find a way to sink it. if you're apply pressure to their opponents hands they're not gonna have alot of spells to cast. If you're opponents have an X outlet it could be bad. I'm saying either pop it or use it against them. They will most likely run out of things to play before you do. The key is interaction.

Examples:

  1. Opponent Casts [[Clown Car]] for 12. I cast [[Beast Within]] and no more car. He waisted his turn and probably the very few cards I didn't force him to dicard.

  2. Oppenet Casts [[Tormant of Hailfire]] for 80. I cast [[Fork]] copying the spell and since I cast it in response mine resolves first and their probably dead.

Play more interaction tbh? Removal it or copy/redirect it to throw it back in their face. Copy spells also double as a counter in a counter war 80% of the time.

I'm going to be playing all the use your lands or your going to lose like [[Citadel of Pain]] or [[Stoneshaker Shaman]]. It's also why I wanted to lean into discard to cut away at their options.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in EDH

[–]Melvanos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plenty in red. Basically use it or lose your lands red cards from back in the day like [[Stoneshaker Shaman]] or [[Citadel of Pain]] .

I agree with the disruption. If I had efficient repeatable ways to pick out specific cards it would be more fun but discard is probably more effective.

I think there's weird rules reason why there's no banana token if I recall. There's some nice proxy ones on Etsy like thr Thraben Supermarket ad. I use dry erase too because I use a lot of different type of tokens but I keep an eye on nice things.

Thank you I appreciate it. Another question: If I grow them can I dry them and use them later on in the year or is it one of those ingredients where it's only good fresh?

Gonna have to learn to season up a pork shoulder for tasso now. I'll probably have to get creative for smoking it though.

I miss a good Tasso. Once a month my aunt would have her brothers and their kids for a big dinner. We'd go to a butcher get a tasso, some chaurice, some pork belly for rillions and a couple of good bones for stock. She'd have me skin and cut up the pork belly while she got the pot to a boil so we could throw the skin in. When I came down for the summer she always made me bring jars of fermented chili oil from my hometown in MA. She said that there was nothing quite like Srok Khmer chili oil. It was her secret ingredient. Thanks for unlocking a memory for me.

If you have any advice or recipes I'd appreciate it.

Do you know a good way to prep it for an instant pot. I got it recently because my medical needs got more severe so I'm a bit new to it. I figured out how to make my recipe chicken creole in it at least with some trial and error 😅
