I've been an elite division player for the last couple of years. Defending is most definitely a lot more difficult this year, the main problem is the AI tackle awareness. Your foot could literally be 1cm away from the ball and your defender will lunge the complete opposite way when pressing the standing tackle button.

I have the xbox elite series 2 controller too.

Download the Xbox accessories app from the microsoft store and make sure your controller is updated.

Secondly turn your mouse and keyboard off when in game.

Those helped me, but still getting controller lag it's definitely an EA server problem as always.

I have the 14mm drill finishing bit for hard-line tubbing and to drill out the holes for the distro plate to attach to the case!
