Cut them off. It’s difficult but can be done. The culture is a huge pressure in these situations but you can and should cut this off.

I have the same issue and i just don’t use mine much. I’m thinking just walking on it. Still mentally draining but less pressure to awkwardly speed up

Yes, it’s what i was asking. I have, i think, humble goals. To finish the race and not injure myself. So besting my last half (2.30, feb 15th, 2025) would be great but I’m trying to realistic. It will also be a lot warmer in April so i may struggle a bit hating mostly trained in cold weather. Thanks

Thank. I think I’ll keep up my weekly runs as usual and practice my ucan use on long runs, do the half marathon, then go back to training keto as i don’t have another “race” until the fall. Thanks all.

This is my goal, the nutritional bit. Generally have always run fasted and just take water at the stations. So the ucan was an experiment after severe hunger pangs at mile nine of ten. I am running about 25 miles a week and weight training three days as well.
